COMMON QUESTIONS

My PDK won't adapt after a gearbox repair. Can you fix it?
Yes — one of our most common Porsche jobs. After PDK mechanical repair, the transmission must be reprogrammed via PIWIS III. We perform full flash, clutch adaptation, and learn cycle. Takes 2–3 hours in-shop. For mail-in, send the mechatronic unit.
Can you program a used PCM head unit into my Porsche?
Absolutely. We virginize the used PCM, reprogram to your VIN, restore all factory config including nav, phone data, and coded features like Sport Chrono or CarPlay. Much cheaper than $3,000+ new from Porsche.
Do you use genuine Porsche PIWIS tools?
Yes. PIWIS III — the same platform used by authorized Porsche dealers worldwide. Factory-level accuracy for all programming, coding, and calibration. No aftermarket scan tools.
I lost all my Porsche keys. Can you help?
Yes. Car needs to be at our shop (or towed in). We access the immobilizer via PIWIS, generate new key data, and program fresh keys. Takes about half a day. Bring title/registration for verification.
Which modules can I mail in for programming?
PDK mechatronic units, PCM head units, BCM, instrument clusters, and gateway modules — all bench-programmable via mail-in. PASM and key work require the vehicle present. Contact us for specifics.
