What the procedure looks like: we start with a scan to capture the car's state as delivered, stage the manufacturer's static targets on a level, measured floor, run the software through each affected sensor, then take the prescribed dynamic drive where the brand calls for one. The job ends with a verification scan and a written report. If an insurer is involved — common, since collisions and glass claims are what trigger most calibrations — that report is built to slot into the claim.
One Framingham-specific note: the pickup-and-SUV mix here is heavy, and trucks bring their own calibration wrinkles — ride-height options, towing packages that shift stance, aftermarket lifts and leveling kits. All of those move sensor aim. If your truck has been lifted, leveled or loaded differently since the last calibration, mention it; the procedure has to account for the stance the truck actually lives at.
